Westauz Mining is an Australian owned and operated company based in Kalgoorlie Boulder, in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.

Westauz Mining supplies quality, safe and productive contract mining solutions to the Underground Mining Industry, offering specialised Contract Mining Services such as Narrow Vein, Handheld and Mechanised Mining, Mine Consultation, Infrastructure Installation and Labour Hire.

Working in close partnership with their clients, Westauz Mining can tailor ventures & contract mining services to reflect each individual client’s requirements, in a cost effective and flexible manner. Westauz offers a range of mining methods and mine site development advice based on ore body, size and structure.

Established in 2014 by Managing Director Dave Murison, Westauz Mining Pty Ltd offers over 27 years of Underground Mining & Management knowledge and experience, with expertise in narrow vein Air Leg Mining and Mechanised Mining profiles.

The company continues to grow and strengthen corporate alliances as they expand into the contract mining division, particularly in the handheld mining and small mechanised mining projects. Handheld mining is Westauz’s greatest strength, driven by leading industry experience and knowledge within the Airleg Mining development and stoping of narrow ore bodies.

Westauz Mining provide professional underground installation for clients utilising major underground engineering design & manufacturing companies, for project works. We continue to work closely with our clients to ensure the best products are installed in a cost effective, productive and timely manner.

Westauz Mining offer an experienced Mining Consultancy Division within the company, helping clients define cost effective handheld / mining methods to allow for the successful mining of ore bodies that would otherwise be difficult to extract.

Westauz Mining also offer their clients the option to employ labour for underground mine site positions, on both long and short term contracts. We constantly look to ensure we can assist our current and future clients to resolve their experienced labour and underground operator shortage issues.
