Westauz Mining was established by Dave Murison in 2014 who prior to this, owned and managed MC Mining with a partner for 8 years. Dave has been continuously involved in the underground mining industry since 1989, as an Airleg Miner, Mining Superintendent and General Manager.

Some highlights include the construction and set up for HWE Mining and Lionore.

Dave and his family have resided in Kalgoorlie for most of this time with a short 5 years in Perth where he worked as a junior Estimator / Project Manager and Miner for HWE.

Dave Murison has been continuously involved in underground mining since 1989 and has previously been known as MC Mining which successfully air leg mined contracts at Barrick Lawlers New Holland UG, Lamancha’s Frog’s Leg UG, Barrick’s Fairyland, Goldfield’s Darlot UG, KCGM’s Mt Charlotte UG, CNGC’s Harlequin/HV1 UG, Barrick’s Raleigh UG to name a few.
